Project Brief
15 Percent Pledge is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to call on major retailers and businesses to commit at least 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned brands. The goal of the 15 Percent Pledge Instagram account is to urge consumers to support Black-owned brands and to appeal to retailers to act on the pledge and stay committed to this cause.
As a digital designer at 15 Percent Pledge, I feel fortunate to be able to use my professional experience to make an impact in our society. Awareness of our organization and its mission is growing rapidly, and it has already been featured in media outlets such as CBS, Today, and GQ.
